Here's a picture of our dog, Callista though the dining room window. She's sitting on the front porch in 'her' chair. It's a chair from the office my dad use to work at and she claimed it. We let her have it because 1. It's rather old 2. She's old and needs some comfort 3. it got dirty with her sitting on it all the time.

Poor Callista has arthritis. She'll be 11 this year. She sits in that chair when she's cold.

This is my desk. Books, letters, drinking glasses, scissors, nail clippers, hippos, a random jar, and a NaNoWriMo sign are some of the things that are most often on the desk.

Someone shot out road sign! (See the three bullet holes in the lower sign?) So they replaced it and called it Lane instead of Road. Wiley Lane has a nicer ring to it anyways, don't you think?

The view out one of our front windows. It's been below freezing most days (For all day) recently so everything is rather dead besides those few green patches. Those pear trees should be really pretty come spring, though.

Since today is Appreciate a Dragon Day, I made this pie for my dad our resident dragon. =P He LOVES chocolate pie.

This is Angel's new bit. It came in the mail. Hopefully she'll like it better than her old bit. This (for those who care to know) is a Jeffer's Walking Horse snaffle bit. Her old bit was a double twisted wire snaffle bit.

Late Posts

I have been taking my pictures! Really! Right now we have a lot of guests over and since we have sattelite internet, we have very limited bandwidth so my dad has declared that there shall be no picture upload for awhile, to make sure we don't go over our bandwidth. If we do, we get our use cut down by 90% for a whole month, that would be very bad. I may not be posting now, but rest assured, you shall be inundated with pictures once I'm allowed to post them!

Project 365

I heard about this project from MangyCat on CleanPlace. The goal is to take one picture everyday of the year. I'm starting a little late, but I plan on taking one or two pictures everyday, so that should make up for it. =D
